About the destination
Puri is one of the four Char Dham pilgrimage sites, built around the 12th-century Jagannath temple and its enormous annual Rath Yatra. Alongside the temple, it has a long stretch of beach, a strong crafts tradition at Raghurajpur and the extraordinary Sun Temple at Konark a short drive up the coast.
